Hello Beautiful Friends:
I had the wonderful idea to make small gifts for my friends and researched to find the perfect little homemade thing...Bath bombs. I wasn't able to get the ingredients together in enough time to put them together before the Christmas Holiday but did have time over the break to get them together for little gifts for the New Year...and they were a disaster. What a huge mistake! I was so nervous about adding too much water that I didn't add enough so when they dried, they didn't stay together. Right now I have yummy smelling sand.
This is what they
looked like drying in the pan...Funny Story ~ my husband walked through the
kitchen and saw these sitting on the counter and licked them... I laughed so
hard I cried and fell off the couch. He clearly wasn't listening to me
when I told him what I was doing and to not touch them on the counter....serves
him right! At least his breathe smelled nice for the rest of the day!
What I did end up making were quilts for my son and his friend who is staying with us.
